Welcome to the North Florida Health Alliance

The North Florida Health Alliance is a not-for-profit provider sponsored organization of health care providers who provide medical care in rural North Florida. Our members are rural physicians, hospitals, health education organizations, Hospice, public health and the many ancillary providers who make up the health care system in North Florida rural counties. NFHA is not an exclusive organization. Based on a model of collaboration and cooperation, NFHA seeks to increase quality and reduce the cost of health services through system wide participation of its members. Members may elect to participate in NFHA programs or obtain advice through other organizations or directly from payors or insurers.

NFHA serves Rural North Florida in the following counties: Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Washington.

NFHA's mission is to assist rural health care providers develop collaborative programs and services aimed at improved efficiency and patient outcomes. Members of NFHA are also members of rural health networks in the Big Bend and Panhandle areas.

NFHA is a member of the Big Bend Health partnership and a collaborative partner of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and BigBendHealth.

NFHA offers a full range of continuing education and certification programs designed to assist members meet national accreditation and licensure standards. NFHA is open to all providers who comply with membership guidelines.
